Snowflake Wall Art From Dollar Tree Supplies
This snowflake wall art is so easy to make, and it’s also very inexpensive! I made this for a specific spot in my foyer where I’ve decided to rotate through seasonal art, but you could put a hanger on it instead and hang it on door in lieu of a wreath. Lots of possibilities, and you really don’t need many supplies to make it.
Aside from the paint and glue gun/glue sticks that I used (because I already had them), everything came from Dollar Tree. I bought a charger plate, a pack of three metal words, small square foam stickers, a pack of unfinished wood snowflakes (meant to be ornaments), some glittery foam snowflakes, and some foam snowflake stickers.

Supplies:
- Charger plate
- Paint (red and white)
- Assortment of snowflakes
- Metal word pack
- Square foam stickers
- Glue gun/glue sticks
When I found this pack of words, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I was thrilled with the fall-themed word pack that I bought months ago, so I was beyond excited to find this pack. I will find something else to do with the other words, so that just means more crafting fun to look forward to!

We decorate the front part of our house in red and white (with a lot of snowflakes) for Christmas, so I wanted to stick with those colors for this project. I think it’s going to look fantastic hanging near the snowflake sign I made last year!
I saw online that Dollar Tree carries a red charger, but I haven’t been able to find it in-store. I had bought a gold one, so I decided to paint that. It took a few coats, but it turned out well. I actually think the matte finish of the paint works well with the sparkly snowflakes.
In between waiting for coats of red paint to dry, I painted the wood snowflakes white. Once I found my good white paint (paint isn’t supposed to look like cottage cheese, right?), it went quickly.

When I bought the snowflakes, I wasn’t sure which ones I was going to use. As it turns out, I used some from each pack. I arranged them on the charger to see what I liked. I had chosen the word “believe” for this sign, and I carefully arranged the snowflakes so that it would not only fit, but also stand out.

I used my glue gun to attach the wood and foam snowflakes, and then I stuck the foam stickers on.
To attach the word, I used foam squares. You can buy them in different sizes at Dollar Tree, and I used the smallest ones. I put them on the back of the word and then flipped it over to stick it onto the plate. In a couple of spots I stacked two squares to make it work.

I will be using Command strips to hang this, but you could also attach a loop of ribbon to create a hanger.
Since I have a lot of snowflakes left over, I’m planning to make a more generic wintry one to hang up in January. Stay tuned!
Happy crafting!
